Welcome to Our Practice
Mission Statement
Upper Arlington Endodontics is one of Ohio’s leading endodontic practices. OUR MISSION is to provide clinical excellence through the use of highly technical equipment and compassionate care that always puts the patient first. We want a patient to know that they are the most important visitor on our premises. Patients are not dependent on us rather, we are dependent on them. Patients are not an interruption to our work, they are the purpose for it. Patients are not considered as an outsider in our practice, instead, they are part of it. We are not doing a patient a favor by serving them, they are doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.
Our practice is dedicated to helping you retain your natural teeth for a lifetime. We provide patient care in all phases of surgical and non-surgical endodontics. Endodontics, or “root canal therapy”, is one of the dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association, and it has been the focus of our practice for the past 30 years. Our specialty staff is highly trained and we are committed to providing the highest standard of endodontic care in a relaxed and pleasant environment. Information on this website will help familiarize you with our practice. We are located in Upper Arlington, Ohio, near the “five corners” intersection of Fishinger Road, Tremont Road, and Northwest Boulevard. Our building is off of Fishinger Road, situated behind the PNC Bank building, on the northeast corner of the intersection. In the”map to office” section of this site, you can find detailed directions to locate us.
As an endodontic patient, what should I expect?
A comprehensive examination to diagnose orthofacial pain and pulpal injury, and determine if the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic therapy.
- Non-surgical treatment to eliminate the diseased pulp. This injured pulp is removed and the root canal system is thoroughly cleaned and sealed.
- Under certain circumstances, microsurgery may be indicated. We are experts in performing this procedure, and utilize sophisticated equipment to ensure the best result.
Initial Consultation
Your first initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, surgery can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Please provide us with the following information at the time of your consultation:
- Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable
- Picture I.D.
- Insurance Card
IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
A pre-operative consultation and physical examination is mandatory for patients interested in oral sedation for treatment. You will also need an adult to drive you to and from your appointment. Please alert our office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
