Dr. David G. Oser

Board Certified Endodontist - Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics

Dr. Oser was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating magna cum laude. He attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine graduating in the top tier in his class. He and his wife moved to New England where Dr. Oser completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Providence, RI. Following residency, he worked in  private practice as a general dentist in Boston, MA. During his time in private practice, he realized his true passion for  Endodontics and subsequently completed his Endodontics specialty residency at Tufts University.
Dr. Oser has a passion for teaching and has lectured on endodontics at Tufts University as well as at the Yankee Dental Congress and is currently a professor of endodontics at University of Illinois-Chicago. He is a published author in the Journal of Endodontics. He is a member of the Ohio as well as the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontics. He is a proud recipient of the award for Clinical Excellence in Endodontics from the New York State Association of Endodontists, Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry from the Academy of Osseointegration, and the APEX award for Esthetic Dentistry from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also the recipient of the Civic Honors Award and is a member of the Honos Civicus Society for his volunteer work both in local communities as well as abroad.

Away from the office, Dr. Oser is an avid world traveler, cyclist, skier, and sports fan. He volunteers his time worldwide through global health externships, providing dental care for children of need around the world. He has been an integral part in building a fixed dental clinic in La Romana, Dominican Republic and travels yearly to provide dental care.
